we are in an ARM and have a credit score of about 739 and no late payments about 5k in debt and are upside dwn

the mortgage is set to start adjusting soon and we thought we would be able to refinance. We owe about 210, and it appraised for 190, We were suckered into the loan type from a “friend” and were told it would be okay we could refi later. we needed cash out because of a sick family member and needed to care for them. What do we do to avoid losing our house.
We were told about a program just passed “Neighborhood stabilization program” any ideas??
we have good credit and pay our bills and have a decent wage.

Call your lender. If you have been on time with your prior payments, they may be able to help you. Banks want to keep your business. Especially with all the foreclosures right now. You have options. Just keep trying. Good luck.
